Small changes can make such a difference in your life, we moved to a new home. Staying on a farm has so changed me I wake up early, I have so much more energy. I changed my outlook on live so completely I'm going to church again my faith has been renewed.
I go fishing just to sit and admire the work of our creator watch the hippos playing in the river photographing beautiful animals and nature. I'm truly blessed to have moved into such a lovely home and have my parents and brother there with me enjoying all that the farm live has to offer.
I was reading through a article posted by @toxinews about how South Africa has changed in the last few years and it really made me think, everything he wrote about all his topics and scenarios are things that I have seen and experienced my self. From the robbery to being attacked having friends and family members stabbed and killed in farm attacks unfair taxes being discriminated against just because I'm white. I get that this was how the majority of the African population were treated during apartheid era but now we get a 20 year old claiming to have been oppressed and all the other crap they think of. But he was never in the struggle I was never in the struggle. So why are me and him not treated equal now since neither of us where ever shot at, had exactly the same equal education level same qualifications same experience. No his grandfather was a terrorist in the struggle so he was by relation also in the struggle so now he has every possible opportunity handed to him on a silver platter.
I find it sad that we can't seem to get over this. We are always reminded by government that during apartheid this and that. Not that we are ever reminded that our country is now "democratic" we must all get along and be happy and co-exist as brothers and sisters. "NO NEVER the white minority racists dogs" will never be treated as equals in this country we will kill them all, they must go". This is how our politicians speak on TV at ANC meetings in parliament. If they put half the energy they spend on hating is into fixing up the roads and housing issues, getting our hospitals back op to standard and not pigsties with out running water or qualified doctors.
Lets get a grip on government spending and get South Africa back on track so we can become the country we are meant to be.
